The Camp Hill School District recently announced the hiring of Ethan McKellar as the new Executive Director of the Grace Milliman Pollock Performing Arts Center, a significant appointment that is expected to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the center's programming and operations. McKellar, who comes with a wealth of experience in arts administration and education, will be responsible for overseeing the center’s diverse array of performances, community outreach initiatives, and educational programs aimed at fostering a love for the arts among students and residents alike.

Ethan McKellar is an accomplished arts administrator, educator, director, and producer dedicated to creating inclusive, community-driven arts experiences that center youth voice and storytelling. As Artistic Director of the Ridley Performing Arts Program (RPAP), Ethan oversaw a period of transformational growth, leading the expansion of year-round programming and developing new educational and artistic initiatives that serve over 3,000 students and families annually. With a focus on equity, aesthetic education, and authentic engagement, he has positioned RPAP as a cultural cornerstone in its community. His leadership emphasizes sustainable development, relationship-building, and creating space—both physical and creative—for young people to take ownership of their stories.

Ethan’s experience also includes working with Sesame Workshop as a Production Intern on Sesame Street’s 55th season, where he supported content development, logistics, and inclusive storytelling practices. As a Teaching Artist with the Philadelphia Film Society, he designed and taught a film analysis course for high school students, mentoring them through critical thinking and artistic expression. A graduate of Pace University with a B.A. in Film & Screen Studies, Ethan has recently begun pursuing his M.S. in Arts Administration at Drexel University. He combines strategic leadership with creative vision to build programs that empower young artists, activate communities, and reimagine what arts education can be.

Ethan will officially share his vision for the Pollock Center on December 11th at a public event starting at 7pm.
