3rd Grade through 5th Grade | 3 Weeks Long | 2 Sessions
Summer Stage KIDS! is a fun introduction to theatre for young performers, promoting creativity through storytelling, movement, music, and play in a supportive setting.
Students will be grouped with those in their grade level to build individual showcase pieces.
3rd graders will focus on the individual crafts of song, scene, and dance. 4th graders will combine those elements to tell a story. Lastly, 5th graders will mount a 30-minute adaptation of a pre-existing musical!

6th-12th Grade | 4 Weeks Long | 2 Sessions
Summer Stage Junior is a high-energy, process-focused program for young artists ready to grow their skills and take creative risks. Students work collaboratively to rehearse and perform a junior-length musical while expanding on foundational techniques in acting, singing, movement, and ensemble work.
In a summer dedicated to Breaking the Mold, Junior performers learn that theatre thrives when unique voices, bold choices, and teamwork come together.

Ages 16-30 | 6 Weeks Long, Evenings | Audition Based
Summer Stage MainStage offers a rigorous, immersive theatrical experience for teens seeking deeper artistic and leadership opportunities. Students engage in an elevated rehearsal process that mirrors professional theatre practices while exploring character, storytelling, and collaboration at a more advanced level. MainStage productions challenge performers to think critically, take artistic risks, and contribute meaningfully both onstage and behind the scenes. Anchored by our Breaking the Mold theme, MainStage invites young artists to question tradition, reimagine storytelling, and define their own creative path—together.

7th-12th Grade | 6 Weeks Long
The Summer Stage Technical Crew program offers students hands-on training in the essential behind-the-scenes elements that bring theatre to life. Participants explore areas such as lighting, sound, stage management, set construction, costumes, and backstage operations while working collaboratively on a live production. This program emphasizes problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking, empowering students to understand theatre as both an art and a craft. Under our Breaking the Mold theme, Technical Crew members are encouraged to innovate, take ownership, and discover that leadership and creativity shine just as brightly behind the curtain as they do onstage.
