Hadestown: Teen Edition tickets are ON SALE NOW!
An unforgettable story of love, hope, and the power of music takes center stage as Camp Hill High School presents Hadestown: Teen Edition, December 11–13, 2026, at The Pollock Center.
This December, audiences are invited to journey deep beneath the earth and discover a world where love challenges fate, music inspires revolution, and hope refuses to disappear. The Pollock Center is proud to present Camp Hill High School's fall musical, Hadestown: Teen Edition, a bold and captivating theatrical experience brought to life by an extraordinary company of young performers and artists.
Inspired by the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone, Hadestown reimagines these timeless stories through an electrifying blend of folk, jazz, blues, and New Orleans-inspired music. The Tony Award-winning musical explores the power of storytelling, the resilience of the human spirit, and the extraordinary courage it takes to believe in a better world.
At the heart of the story are Orpheus, a young musician determined to write a song that can change the world, and Eurydice, a young woman searching for security in an uncertain future. As their paths lead into the industrial underworld ruled by Hades, they discover that love, trust, and hope can be both fragile and powerful.
Bringing a Broadway Phenomenon to Camp Hill
Hadestown has captivated audiences with its inventive storytelling, unforgettable music, and visually striking theatrical world. Now, Camp Hill High School students have the opportunity to explore this celebrated work through a production that emphasizes artistic collaboration, creative expression, and the power of ensemble storytelling.
Under the direction of Ethan McKellar, with choreography by Lexi Fazzolari and vocal direction by Drew Patti, the production brings together student performers and a dedicated creative team to tackle one of contemporary musical theatre's most compelling works.
Through powerful vocals, expressive movement, and imaginative theatrical design, these young artists will invite audiences into a story that feels both ancient and remarkably relevant.
