Meet Ethan

Ethan McKellar is the Executive & Artistic Director of The Pollock Center. In November 2026, Ethan will completing his first year in this position. His focus remains on improving the community through the power of the performing arts and fulfill Grace Milliman Pollock's orginial mission of creating a space for children and adults to grow, learn, explore, play and experience the joys of the arts.

Ethan's Background

Ethan McKellar is an arts administrator, educator, director, and producer committed to building accessible, student-centered arts experiences that strengthen communities and create meaningful opportunities for young artists. He currently serves as Executive Director of the Grace Milliman Pollock Performing Arts Center in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, where he leads the Center’s artistic programming, educational initiatives, community engagement, and organizational development.

In his role at the Pollock Center, Ethan oversees a diverse portfolio of theatrical productions, educational programs, special events, and community partnerships while working closely with Camp Hill School District to expand opportunities for students to engage with the performing arts. His leadership is grounded in the belief that performing arts centers can serve not only as places of performance, but as vibrant educational and cultural hubs where students, artists, educators, and community members come together.

Prior to joining the Pollock Center, Ethan co-founded and served as Artistic Director of Ridley Performing Arts Program (RPAP), where he helped guide the organization through a period of significant growth. Under his leadership, RPAP expanded its year-round programming, established its first permanent rehearsal and administrative space, and developed new artistic and educational initiatives for young performers. Ethan also helped secure more than $40,000 through individual giving, grants, and strategic partnerships to support scholarships, programming, and organizational growth.

Ethan’s professional experience extends across arts administration, education, film, television, and live performance. He worked with Sesame Workshop as a Production Intern on the 55th season of Sesame Street, supporting production and the organization’s commitment to thoughtful, inclusive storytelling. As a Teaching Artist with the Philadelphia Film Society, he worked with high school students to develop skills in film analysis, critical thinking, and artistic expression.

Ethan earned his B.A. in Film & Screen Studies from Pace University, graduating cum laude, and is pursuing his M.S. in Arts Administration at Drexel University. Across his work as an executive, educator, and artist, Ethan brings together strategic leadership and creative vision to develop sustainable arts programs, cultivate the next generation of artists and audiences, and ensure that the performing arts remain an essential part of the communities they serve.
