Cancellation Policy

Attendance Expectations Students are expected to attend all rehearsals for which they are called. The production team understands that students have academic responsibilities, family obligations, athletics, clubs, and other commitments. Conflicts disclosed before or at the time of auditions will be considered when creating the rehearsal schedule and making casting decisions. Once the rehearsal schedule has been distributed, students should make Hadestown: Teen Edition rehearsals a priority whenever they are called. Students are not expected to attend rehearsals for which they have not been called. The final rehearsal period is essential to the success and safety of the production. All rehearsals during Tech Week, Dress Rehearsals, and all performances are mandatory unless otherwise specifically approved by the production team. Students should avoid scheduling appointments, trips, work shifts, athletic conflicts, or other optional activities during this period. An unexpected illness, emergency, or school-required obligation should be communicated to the production team immediately. Because these rehearsals involve the entire company, technical elements, costumes, musicians, and production staff, missing a mandatory rehearsal may affect a student's participation in the production.
